Ok change of plans. The Vega Funny car has been pushed to the back burner for now.I will start on it again soon. But for now my Christmas gift from my Sister&Brother in law.

for the very bare and simple cockpit. Why decals? A Photo-Etch cockpit for this kit is $30. The decals were $8. This is not going to be entered into any contest so to sit on my shelf the decals are OK for me.

Jungle Jim Funny Car

Afew pics of the Vega body. I painted it back in the Fall so I could build it during the Winter. The Blue..Colorplace Royal Blue.. is darker in person and I know it not the correct blue but its what I had on hand .

The tin work inside the body. I used  Testor's Gold enamel paint on the inside body and tin work.
